HETAN is a pioneer of the first hour of broadband Internet via satellite.
Satellites have been used for more than 40 years of communication tasks. In contrast to ground communication procedures, they have the advantage that its range can stretch over a whole continent. Within this range, the so-called "footprint", customers can watch TV via satellite, telephone or even surf the Internet.
The management of HETAN Technologies GmbH was involved in the development and marketing of satellite-based Internet connections in Europe since 1999 in the former TELES Wireless Broadband Internet GmbH.
